A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

A duck's feathers are so waterproof that water just rolls right off. These Duck Crew Socks are not waterproof, but they are very hard to be grumpy in.

  • Bold duck prints — yellow rubber ducks, little ducks bobbing on wavy water, or wild ducks in flight.
  • Crew length — a ribbed cuff that sits at mid-calf, with a contrast heel and toe on the blue and black styles.
  • Three styles — Rubber Duck (royal blue with a red cuff), Duck Pond (black with blue and red waves) or Flying Ducks (warm taupe).
  • Unisex adult fit — one size; check the size chart before you order.

What you get
One pair of socks in the style you choose.

Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, and air-dry.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
