A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

An owl can turn its head about 270 degrees, so it will always see you reaching for the coffee. The Ceramic Owl Mug keeps watch over your morning cup.

  • Real size — about 10 cm (3.9 in) tall and 13 cm (5.1 in) wide with the handle. Holds just over 300 ml (10 oz).
  • Three colors — Blue (sage green and sky blue), Beige (cream and gold) or Brown (chocolate and amber).
  • Raised details — big round eyes, a little beak, a scalloped feather belly and wings in relief under a glossy glaze.
  • Easy gift — for the owl fan, the night owl, or the friend who needs coffee before words.

What you get
One ceramic owl mug, in the color you pick.

Care
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. It's ceramic, so handle with care.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
