A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

An octopus has three hearts and blue blood. The Sea Creature Crew Socks keep it simpler: one pair, two feet, plenty of sea life.

  • Three styles — blue-gray sharks on black with golden yellow trim, orcas on denim blue with a lime green cuff, or orange octopuses on black with mint trim.
  • Cotton knit — mid-calf crew length with a ribbed cuff and a bold, colorful print.
  • One size — fits about US women's 8–11.5, men's 6.5–10 (EU 39–44). See the size chart.
  • Easy gift — for the friend who would rather be at the aquarium.

What you get
One pair of socks, in the style you pick.

Care
Machine wash cold inside out with similar colors. Hang to dry and skip the bleach.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
