A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

Capybaras are champion nappers and doze off in short spells all through the day. The Long Capybara Plush Pillow is built for exactly that kind of afternoon.

  • Real size — about 50 cm (19.7 in) long. Long enough to hug, small enough for an armchair.
  • Stretched-out capybara — a long caramel-brown body lying on its belly, with a darker snout, sleepy eyes, pink blush cheeks and little legs stretched out behind.
  • Soft, short plush — smooth and squishy, made for hugging on the sofa, tucking under an arm or a lazy weekend nap.
  • Easy gift — for the capybara fan who naps like one (no judgment).

What you get
One long capybara plush pillow, about 50 cm (19.7 in).

Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Let it air dry.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
