A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

The biggest wave ever surfed was about 26 meters (86 ft) tall. The Ocean Wave Glass Mug keeps its wave a calm 9 cm, curling around your morning tea.

  • Real size — holds 300 ml (10 oz); about 9 cm (3.5 in) tall and 12 cm (4.7 in) wide with the handle.
  • Textured glass — ocean waves in raised relief over a bubbly, lightly frosted glass body, with a chunky loop handle.
  • Two colors — Sea Green, a sea-glass teal with one big curling wave, or Clear Blue, clear glass with swirling waves and a blue rim.
  • Easy gift — for the beach lover who doesn't live by the sea (yet).

What you get
One glass mug in the color you choose.

Care
Hand wash with warm, soapy water. Avoid sudden temperature changes, like pouring boiling water into a cold glass.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
