A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

Harp seal pups are born in fluffy white coats and get rounder by the day while they nurse. The Slow-Rise Seal Squishy keeps that chubby shape: squeeze it flat and watch it slowly puff back up.

  • Real size — about 3.1 in (8 cm) wide. Small enough to sit in the palm of one hand.
  • Slow-rise squish — press it, let go, and it slowly rises back into a round little seal with tiny flippers and a curled-back tail.
  • Three colors — White with a gray muzzle, Pink with a cream muzzle, or icy Blue with little snowflakes.
  • Desk buddy — for fidgety hands during long calls, study sessions or slow afternoons.

What you get
One seal squishy in the color you choose.

Care
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Keep it away from heat, direct sun, pens and sharp nails, and never soak it in water.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
