A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

A dairy cow can drink more than 100 liters of water a day. The Cow Print Mug holds a more reasonable 500 ml of coffee.

  • Real size — holds about 500 ml (17 oz), big enough for a proper morning coffee or a generous mug of tea.
  • Glossy ceramic — white with big black cow spots, and a spot on the handle too.
  • Little pink feet — the rounded mug stands on short pink feet, like a cow that wandered onto your table.
  • Easy gift — for the coffee lover who also happens to love cows.

What you get
One ceramic mug.

Care
Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry with a soft towel. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
