A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

A real black cat's fur can turn rusty brown after too much sunbathing. The Curly Black Cat Plush stays dark and curly, no shade needed.

  • Real size — about 40 cm (15.7 in) tall, sitting.
  • Curly plush — wavy, curly pile, huge pointed ears, round amber eyes and big hind paws with toe beans on the soles.
  • Two colors — black, or a black and white tuxedo with a little bow tie.
  • Easy gift — for the black cat lover in your life (or for you, no judgment).

What you get
One cat plush in the color you choose.

Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
