A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

Young songbirds learn their tunes a lot like we learn to talk: by listening and practicing. The Vintage Bird Print Socks skip the singing and go straight to looking good.

  • Painted-look print — songbirds perched among branches, blossoms and leaves all over the sock, like an old botanical painting.
  • Three designs — Blossom Birds (peach blossoms on cream), Orange Songbirds (orange-breasted birds on ivory) or Bluebirds & Lemons (on off-white).
  • Crew length, one size — a black heel and toe, made to fit most adult feet (see the size chart).
  • Easy gift — for bird watchers, gardeners and anyone who likes art they can wear.

What you get
One pair of socks, in the design you pick.

Care
Machine wash cold inside out with similar colors. Hang to dry and skip the bleach.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
