A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

Real sloths climb down from their trees only about once a week. The Sleeping Sloth Plush Pillow sees no reason to get up at all.

  • Real size — about 65 cm (25.6 in) long.
  • Short velvety plush — a long body lying flat on its belly, eyes closed, mid-nap.
  • Two colors — taupe gray with chocolate-brown limbs, or teal blue with gray limbs.
  • Hug it or lean on it — a body pillow for the sofa, the bed or a long movie night.
  • Big, easy gift — for the nap champion in your life.

What you get
One sleeping sloth plush pillow in the color you choose.

Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air-dry completely.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
