A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

Holstein cows are famous for their black-and-white coats, and no two have quite the same pattern. The Spotted Cow Plush has its own: a black patch over one eye and big fluffy black feet.

  • Real size — about 25 cm (9.8 in) tall, sitting.
  • Soft, slightly shaggy fur — white with black patches, short tan horns and a wide tan muzzle with a stitched smile.
  • Long floppy legs — ending in big fluffy black feet, made for hugging and flopping on a shelf.
  • Easy gift — a classic cow for the cow fan in your life (or for you).

What you get
One spotted cow plush.

Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Let it air dry.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
