A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

A cat's tail helps it balance on narrow fences and shelf edges. On the Stacking Black Cat Mug, the tail helps you hold your coffee.

  • Real size — holds about 300 to 400 ml (10 to 13.5 oz).
  • Black cat handle — a glossy 3D black cat stretches across the front, and its long tail curls back into the handle.
  • Ceramic, made to stack — a rounded mug with little cat ears on the rim, a tiny paw print and "MIAO~" painted on the front.
  • Three colors — butter yellow, terracotta or olive green.

What you get
One ceramic mug, in the color you pick.

Care
Hand wash with warm, soapy water to keep the 3D cat and glaze looking new.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
