A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

Shark skin is covered in tiny tooth-like scales, so it feels smooth one way and rough the other. The Corduroy Shark Pencil Case is soft in every direction.

  • Fine corduroy — a soft, rounded box shape with a small embroidered shark patch on the front.
  • Top zipper — opens wide for pens, pencils, a small ruler or a few makeup brushes.
  • Three colors — mint green, beige or dark gray.
  • Easy gift — a quiet little shark for a desk drawer, a backpack or a work bag.

What you get
One pencil case, in the color you pick.

Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
