A Projeto CAPA volunteer feeding wild capybaras by the Pinheiros River in São Paulo

Projeto CAPA

São Paulo, Brazil

Projeto CAPA watches over the wild capybaras of São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, freeing them from trash and keeping them safe. The fences they installed cut road deaths from 15 in 2023 to 1 in 2026.

How we help real animals
Description

A group of highland cows is called a fold, not a herd. This one is a fold of one, and its only job is guarding your ice cream. Meet the Highland Cow Ice Cream Mug.

  • Cow-shaped cup — a chubby sitting highland cow with carved shaggy fur, big glossy eyes, a pink muzzle, little horns and a side handle.
  • Hidden snack drawer — a small pull-out drawer in the base keeps sprinkles or candy close by.
  • Three colors — Brown, White with black horns and ears, or Pink with a little white bow.
  • Easy gift — for the cow fan who never says no to dessert.

What you get
One highland cow ice cream mug with its snack drawer.

Care
Hand wash with warm, soapy water and dry well, drawer included. Keep it away from strong heat.

Meet Projeto CAPA

Along São Paulo’s Pinheiros River, Projeto CAPA looks after the capybaras who live right beside one of the city’s busiest roads. With their partner Belgo, they put up a protective fence along the riverbank, and it is working.
